Dominica – belonging to God

The name is of Latin origin and it means "God's day, belonging to God".

Little Dominica is a healthy and carefree child. Since childhood she is courageous, stubborn and touchy. She is independent and cannot stand group games and would rather play with her dolls alone not letting anyone into her peaceful solitude. Dominica takes her character after her mother but resembles her father in terms of appearance. She finds it difficult to get used to school. However once adjusted to school life she starts to make good progress. She enjoys a retentive memory, she knows many poems and pieces by heart and will willingly recite them to her friends.

By 16 years Dominica's character grows even more difficult and her relations with mother are extremely strained. Later on when she gets married she cannot see eye to eye with her mother-in-law and prefers to lives separately from her.

Dominica wants to rise in the world and she is endowed with good intuition so she is not easily deceived. She is hospitable and loves to go out.

"Winter" Dominica is exceedingly kind and spineless which causes her much trouble. She is fastidious and squeamish.

"Autumn" Dominica always follows fashion and wears extravagant clothes; her favourite colours are violet and red. She loves the truth and her struggle for justice often results only in additional trouble.
